Why Do I Blog?

My abilities to counsel life, marriages & deliver spiritual insights began ever since I was in my teenage. This is to share such experiences to people across the globe. As the tagline suggests, experiences are similar, just that people aren't. We all go through the same thing. But never learn through someone else's mistakes, because as we fail to notice.

To all my followers, I shall share the experiences & my counselling which sure will help you in some way or the other!

Be polite & Emphathetic

We are all running too fast in this world, not knowing our destination. We're hoarding more than we can consume. We're not living at the present.

We are focused on interacting with someone else over a call or a messenger application and not showing bare minimum politeness to the person next to us.

We send emojis with fake intentions. How many of us really smile or really happy on our faces as we use such emoticon?

We pass the hatred we have for someone else to a wrong recipient. How often have be done this and/or faced this!?

We can see some shop keepers so rude and shout at some people and ask them, "Are you mad?" Little do we realize if the other person is autistic or challenged.

Some shop keepers do not want to donate a meal to a person who is so badly hungry, foreseeing the other person to come back every day.

Where's humanity in us? What are schools teaching to children? How are the double income couples raising their children?

Empathy seems to be the most wanted and mostly missing thing.

Be kind and empathetic. Don't pass your hatred or grudge on someone to a wrong recipient.

This Christmas & New Year, look at reflecting on these aspects.

The confusion prevailing over mentoring and mentors

Yes, I know it's been a while I reached out to you all! It's been looooong since you all happened to read my posts. Sorry! It's been a one off unfortunate exception that's happened in the last 8-9 years of my blogging.

Read my old posts from my previous blog, here!

Well I thought I wanted to give some clarity on the prevailing confusion of mentors & mentoring.

In this era of social media, we see a lot of words, catchy and start using them, not knowing the meaning of them. We're not even clever enough to look up on Google for an answer.

So back to mentoring, it's a very highly commendable and reputed position, mind you, I'm not referring it as a profession, although it can be, it needn't be always. Such a reputed position is held by very revered, well knowledgeable personality over flowing with the rich experience they have gained and continue to accumulate.

These mentors don't go on mentor every Tom, Dick and Harry. They do so to the ones who are truly deserving, and in those whom they believe possess a shared vision or cause or calling.

Just because someone knows something more than the average person, doesn't really mean that they qualify to be a mentor.

The world is full of ignorance living in a lot of us, and the slightly better person might look too great. We fail to see a mentor in a Kalam, Einstein, Musk or Jobs because, we can't really think big.

So we go on to consider the slightly more than average person as a mentor. And it's very unfortunate that, the wrongly chosen mentor takes immense pride in being one, cos you see, even they can't really think big.

The bottom line is that, mentoring is a highly reputed and a responsible position (not profession always). The next time someone calls you a mentor, please remember this post and do justice by telling them you are actually not. Of course be willing to help and share information and insights. Just don't let it take that to your head, if you realise what I mean.

Success?

What is success?

There's a lot of lack of clarity in what the most wanted and most sought after word means.

Multiple people within the same homogeneous group will have different perceptions of what success means to them.

In the entertainment industry, a person might want to be the most famous personality and want lot of fan base following them. Another person in same industry might want to earn the highest paycheck. Another person might want to access technologies and catch up with latest developments and see sucess as being the most knowledgeable personality with a quench for thirst for their own knowledge.

A common man too might fit in above categories and seek social acceptance or riches or have a quest for knowledge. It can also be a combination of one or more of the examples and have more and personal perceptions of success.

So sucess and being successful is a personal perspective rather than emulating and comparing it to a different person.

Such clarity doesn't usually exist among most of us and we compare ourselves or our beloved ones to someone else and get distracted from what we like doing.

It takes a different level of maturity to gain that understanding.

Have you got it today?

iPledge

As a mother, You gave me life!
As a sister, You gave me love!
As a friend, You taught me to share!
As a wife, You make a better me, my better half!
As a daughter, you mark me a blessing!

I promise to comfort the mother in you!
I promise to protect the sister in you!
I promise to be the shoulder to cry for the friend in you!
I promise to share the burden of a wife you bear!
I promise the safety a daughter deserves!

iPledge to protect the woman in you!
iPledge to keep you safe!
iPledge to keep you happy!
iPledge to keep you at comfort!
iPledge not to touch you without your consent!

One Woman, with several hats!
If not for the Woman, would there be life!?
- -

Let all men take this pledge!
Let's fight the word and the thought of rape!
Let's make this place a beautiful one for the Women of our lives!

Let's make our country great, again!

The simple reason that a lot of leaders from well known organisations such as Facebook Google Uber Twitter etc National Leader from Canada are voicing out their stance against the immigration ban and the executive orders of the President shows their ability to embrace inclusivity and diversity.

Diversity and freewill will only enhance the world to go to heights and enable trade and flow of business.

In a letter written by one of the Presidents of a prestigious institution, it acknowledged the security reasons for the country while at same time the ban needs to be reconsidered.

A while lot of popular figures like Sergey Brin, Sundar Pichai, Jack Dorsey and Hollywood figures like George Clooney and others are against the move that has upset a whole lot of people.

This move is also named irreparable loss which might continue to create it's own impact.

Immigrants (who have the free will, choice & politically stable country) must go back to their nations and make their own country great again! That would probably show what a loss this ban means!

To repay to God!

Serving His kids and His creations is a way to serve Himself. To help the one nearest to you, in small and in very insignificant contributions makes huge difference to the reciever.

The reciever calls it in his own heart as blessings in disguise.

There was this incident which took place between an intelligent person and a wise man.

The intelligent person said, "God had given me abundantly and more than what I need. And I'm giving it back to him in the temple donation collection lockers. I don't even see the denomination of the currency note as I deposit it."

It indeed was true that God gave him abundantly and it is a beautiful emotion to give back to the form who's blessed us so much.

Filtering the emotions from facts, and applying a rational opinion, the wise man replied, "come out of these temples and see aged and old women, who are barely clothed and suffering for a mouthful of food. They have no access to clean water. At an old age they have nothing to offer to make money in order to feed and cover themselves. Make your unconditional donations to them. For taking care of His children is as much as returning the favour to Him."

Doing so is a blessing in disguise for the one who recieves it. Take care of His children and His creation, pay attention to nature and respect the resources He's given. God will not feel offended or feel he's been taken advantage of.

Is there a better way to pay Him back? Write your opinion in the comments section below!
